Trout fishing Bed and Breakfast Rotorua
Welcome to the Hosking farm and trout fishing Bed
and Breakfast, an architect designed home down a tree-lined drive
surrounded by garden and rolling countryside. We have two kilometres of
private stream renowned for its trout fishing meandering through the farm.
Minus sulphur smells and traffic noise but only minutes from Ngongotaha
village and Rotorua city this an ideal base for fly fishing, relaxation
and quiet, restaurant dining, and visiting the local tourist attractions.
Our brick and cedar home
accommodates a maximum of four people. Children are welcome. The
guest area upstairs includes a gallery, queen and twin bedrooms,
a mezzanine and a bathroom. The rooms are tastefully decorated and
have comfortable beds with down-filled duvets, cotton bed linen
and electric blankets. A private guest lounge downstairs has a TV,
DVD, and tea and coffee making facilities and opens onto a sun drenched
veranda, outdoor seating and the garden.
The acre of beautifully landscaped garden surrounding the house
was described by English guests as “a garden lovers paradise”.
Many native birds including tui, fantail, bellbird, grey warbler,
kaka, paradise ducks and pukekos as well as introduced birds are
commonly seen on the property.
